Can I donate anonymously via Oath?
Oath is a donor advising platform (not a PAC) so all donations move directly from you to whichever recipients you choose and relevant disclosure requirements will apply. Most candidates are required to publicly disclose the donors to their campaign. While federal campaigns are not required to report individual donors who contribute less than $200, they sometimes do so there is no guarantee of anonymity. Each state's campaign finance laws differ and you should operate under the assumption that your donation could be public.
If you would prefer that your donations are not made public, we recommend giving to registered 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) nonprofit organizations, which we also host on the Oath platform.
