# How does Oath make money if you don't take a cut of my donation?

Oath relies on voluntary tips from our users to continue offering the expert analysis that helps donors make strategic donations to the causes and campaigns they care about.

Over 80% of Oath donors choose to leave a small tip, which allows us to continue operating. We hope to keep offering our platform and services in this low-barrier way for as long as we’re able to.
