# What can I ask Dot?

Dot, your personal donor advisor, is built for political questions, so the best way to think about it is as a well-informed guide to the candidates, races, and issues behind your giving.

**Some examples include:**

- "Where would a $50 donation do the most good?"
- “What is the best way to protect our elections?”

Currently, Dot is only trained and pulling from public Oath analysis. It does not see your donation history, payment methods, or other account details. For anything about your account, such as a receipt, a failed donation, or a recurring gift, the Oath chatbot and our support team are the right place to go, and you can read more in.
