What exactly is Oath?

Oath is the one-stop shop for political giving that helps you maximize your impact. Every cycle, donors waste millions of dollars giving too much to long-shot candidates and safe seats, or donating too late to make a difference. Oath gives you a better way to find the most impactful places to give, without the spam texts and emails. Oath does not take a platform fee for any donation through the platform. We rely on voluntary support from donors like you to keep offering our expert analysis and data privacy. Our payment processor charges a standard 3.7% + $0.01 credit card processing fee and 1% + $0.01 ACH processing fee, which is covered by the campaign or organization. All donations go directly from you, the donor, to the recipient(s) you choose, and may require disclosure in places like FEC or state campaign finance reports, depending on who you give to.
