Are there any fees deducted from donations before they are sent?

There is no fee to be on the Oath platform. Oath partners with payment processors on the backend based on a donor’s type of donation (e.g., credit card, ACH, DAF). Standard processing fees ranging from 1.0-3.9% will be deducted from the donation based on the type of payment method used by the donor.

Processing fees are deducted before donations are paid out. For compliance purposes, you will be shown the donation amount, fee, and disbursement amount in your payout reports to ensure that you can appropriately submit the full amount a donor gave (e.g., $100) along with any processing fees (e.g., $3.70).
