What fees are associated with donations processed through Oath?

Oath does not charge recipients any fee to set up an account and use our platform. Our work is made possible via voluntary tips made by donors at the point of checkout.

Oath partners with best-in-class payment processors based on the method of donation (e.g., credit card, ACH, DAF). Standard processing fees will be deducted from the donation based on the type of payment method used by the donor. This fee will be paid by the receiving recipient.

Credit cards carry a 3.7% + $0.01 processing fee, and ACH payments (electronic checks) carry a 1% + $0.01 processing fee. Weekly payout reports available in recipients’ admin dashboards detail the total donation amount, processing fee, and disbursement amount at the donation level for your records.
