What fees are associated with donations processed through Oath?

There is no fee to set up your account on the platform as a recipient and Oath does not charge an ongoing platform fee. Oath’s platform is supported directly by donors via voluntary tips made at time of checkout.

Oath partners with best-in-class payment processors on the backend based on the method of donation (e.g., credit card, ACH, DAF). Standard processing fees, ranging from 1.0-3.9%, will be deducted from the donation based on the type of payment method used by the donor. This fee will be paid by the receiving recipient.

For credit cards, similar to other donation platforms, there is a 3.9% processing fee that is collected by our payment processor. All reporting provided will detail out the total donation amount, processing fee, and disbursement amount at the donation level for your records.
